I'll tell you something about my training routine. I usually train 6 times a week at my gym and every other week I do also my cardio. I have two jobs, so I work a lot and sometimes I just dont have enough time to do everything what I would like. I work at my gym 5 days a week as an gym instructor and, because I am also the owner, I have to do lots of paper work.
I work also with mentally challenged people. We have here helping living -hostels ( I dont know the right words to describe that service...) to them and I work as an attendant "nurse" at the night shifts. I usually work 7 nights and after that I have 7 nights off. When i have that week off, I usually do my cardio with my dog...we like to walk almost every morning for one hour, at least. Finnish nature is wonderful and I like to do my cardio in the wood. At this time of year it is awesome, because spring is almost here and sun already warms up.
My training routine:
Day 1. Chest, Biceps
Day 2. Shoulders, Triceps
Day 3. Back
Day 4. Thighs, Calves
Day 5. Biceps, Triceps
Day 6. Hamstrings, BackI try to do my abs almost every day. I could train all six days before I have to rest, but usually I train 3-4 days and then rest for one day. I like to change my exercises, moves, sets and reps very often. The most important thing in my training is technique! I have to feel my muscles really work, weights are not so important to me.
Next time I'll write about my diet in off-season. I try to be in shape all year round, but it's only natural that there are differences between off-season and competition season.
Yours Pipa xxx

I have written my blog in finnish since year 2006 and now I'll write also in english. These two blogs are not completely identical. My english is not perfect, but I promise I'll try my best.
I thought I'll tell you something about me and my life here and my career in bodybuilding. Next time I will tell you more about my new training routine.
I live in Finland, my hometown is Järvenpää, which is located very near by Helsinki, our capital city. I have own gym ( www.kinnarigym.net ) here in Järvenpää and I work as an gym instructor there. I also train at my gym.
I have another job too, I work as an instructor/nurse with mentally challenged people. I just love both of my jobs.At the moment I'm 32 years old and my first competition was at year 2002. I competed in Fitness Figure category and I placed seventh. After that competition I wanted to change my category to bodybuilding. I competed in bodybuilding at years 2003, 2004 and 2006. After my competition at 2006 I decided to end my career, because I was very disappointed my last performance in the show.
MY CONTEST HISTORY
2002 Nestle Fitness Figure - 7th Place
2003 Finnish Bodybuilding Championships - 2d Place in Novice
2004 Finnish Bodybuilding Championships - 2d Place in +57kg
2006 Finnish Bodybuilding Championships - 5th Place in Open classI have trained all these years after my last competition, because I love to train at the gym. I eat healthy food and try to sleep enough. I just love this life style!
Now I have decided...I'll come BACK and I'll train harder than ever before. I have planned to compete in autumn, but it is just a plan. I'm not sure yet do I have enough time to grow and prepare to the show in autumn. We will see that in the summer!
My height is 160cm (5'3") and my weight is 61kg (134lbs) in competition shape and 69-72kg (152-159lbs) in off-season.
I am very optimistic person and I enjoy my life. I have really good friends here and of course my dog Usko. I live with Usko at my flat which is very nice, it is located only 8km from my gym.
When I have day off, I usually like to eat with my friends at the nice restaurants, walk with Usko or watch some movies. I think that every day is like an adventure to me.
I'll be back next week and then I'll write about my training routine.
Kisses to everyone!
-Pipa
